Classic Hummus is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Classic Hummus is something that I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook classic hummus using 8 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Classic Hummus:
  1. Get Juice from 1 lemon
  2. Prepare 2 cloves garlic
  3. Get 1/3 cup tahini
  4. Get 3/4 tsp. salt
  5. Take 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp. olive oil
  7. Take 2 tbsp. cold water + more as needed
  8. Take 1 can (15 oz.) chickpeas, drained and rinsed well
Instructions to make Classic Hummus:
  1. Place everything except for the chickpeas into a food processor and puree together until smooth. Then add in the chickpeas and puree for 3-4 minutes, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed. If it's too thick, add in more cold water a tbsp at a time while it's processing until it reaches your desired consistency. Then taste, and adjust to suit your taste, if necessary.
  2. That's it! Serve it up, add some toppings if you'd like (like a drizzle more of olive oil or some paprika or sumac) and store leftover dip in the fridge for up to 3 days.
