  25. Get 8-10 tomatoes
  26. Get 2 green chillies
  27. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  28. Make ready 2-3 glass water
  29. Prepare 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Steps to make Mutton Maqluba:
  1. In a wok and oil, mutton and all the spices. Mix well.
  2. Add onion, cover and cook on medium heat for 10 mins.
  3. Now add water to make stock and cook on medium low flame till the mutton is tender. Also add the garlic.
  4. Now in another wok, add oil, mutton and vegetables in layers.
  5. Now in a big mixing bowl add rice and all the spices. Mix with a spatula with light hands.
  6. Add the rice in layer over the vegetables. Add the mutton stock according to your rice (like in pulao) and let it cook on medium low flame till bubbles appear and water is absorbed.
  7. Meanwhile blend together the ingredients for tomato soup and pour into the sauce pan. Cook till the soup is thick.
