Take 1 tbsp ghee
Take 2 onions (cuts into quarters)
Get 1 inch ginger
Take 2 cloves garlic
Get 8-10 whole cashews
Make ready 2 tsp poppy seeds
Get 1/4 cup fresh cream
Prepare 3/4 cup milk
Prepare to taste Salt
Take as per taste Whole peppercorns(crushed for garnish)

Heat a fry pan on low flame & dry roast the cloves, cardamom,cinnamon, cumin seeds, peppercorns, cashew nuts & poppy seeds for about 2-3 mints.
Turn off the flame once well roasted.Transfer them to a mixer jar & grind to a smooth paste using few spoons of milk.
Transfer it to a bowl & set aside.
Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame & add the mushrooms,sprinkle some salt & saute for 5 to 10 mints.Turn iff the flame,transfer it to a bowl & set aside.
To make the kali mirch gravy-Make a paste of ginger, garlic & onions & keep aside.
In a kadai heat ghee on low flame, to this add the ginger,garlic paste & saute for few mints till the raw smell goes away.
Then add the freshly ground masala paste & cook for another 2-3 mints.
Now add the fried mushrooms,frozen corns, paneer cream, milk,salt & give it a good mix.
Allow this to simmer & come to a brisk boil.Turn off the flame & transfer it to a serving bowl.
Serve it along with naan,parathas or phulkas.
