I got the recipe from my husband's mother. She is French so I believe this is a French Meat Pie. Beef, pork, and potato are all nicely spiced and baked into a pie. It's yummy and pretty easy to make too!

Top with second crust and pinch to seal. Cut slits in top of crust to vent. Brush crust with beaten egg and place filled pie pan on cookie sheet to catch any drips. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.

Steps to make Baked meatpie:
  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder add butter and mix till u reach a crumby like texture
  2. Add water little by little and knead, set aside, meanwhile let's prepare our fillings
  3. Add oil in a pan and onion, stir fry add in your minced meat and stir until it changes colour from red to brown add in veggies and stir
  4. Add water to make the veggies and the meat tender add seasoning, spices and bring to boil, when it is soft add cornflour to thicken the stock just
  5. Let's check in our dough, on a working surface sprinkle flour and knead the dough make it flat and cut it in a round shape just
  6. Add your fillings
  7. Add little water to the edges of the round pie so as to prevent it from opening
  8. Fold it and press fork at the edges
  9. Arrange on a baking tray and brush it with egg, bake till golden pale brown OR deep fry it in a hot oil

Brush crust with beaten egg and place filled pie pan on cookie sheet to catch any drips. Serve with a dollop of sour cream. Let us know how it was!
