Make ready 200 gms whole black urad / split black urad dal
Wash and soak whole black urad,rajma,chanadal in water for 6 hours. Pressure cook all with pinch of soda bi carb and bay leaves for 4-5 whistles. Discard the bay leaves from cook dal.
In kadhai add & heat 2 tbsp ghee,add green chillies paste,saute for 30 secs,then add & saute chopped onions. Now add & mix tomatoes puree and boiled dal. After 2-3 boils add & mix fresh cream,cook again for 2-3 mins. Remove from flame.
In small tadka pan add & heat remaining 2 tbsp ghee, add cummin seeds as they splutter add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1 min. Add & mix finely chopped coriander leaves,red chilli powder. Pour this tadka on prepared dal. Immediately cover the dal with lid.
