Hello everybody, it’s me again, Dan, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, idli. One of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Idli is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Idli is something which I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can have idli using 6 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Idli:
  1. Make ready 1 bowl semolina
  2. Prepare 1/2 bowl curd
  3. Get 1/2 bowl water
  4. Take To taste salt
  5. Get 1/4 tsp soda bi carb
  6. Get 1 tsp oil
Instructions to make Idli:
  1. Mix semolina and curd in a mixing bowl. Add salt and water and stir well. Rest for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes stir the mixture and add soda bi carb and mix and immediately make idlis from the mixture.
  3. Grease the idli mould and put 1 tb spoon mixture in each mould.
  4. Heat 1 glass water in a pressure cooker and when water boils place idli mould in cooker. Place lid and steam for 12 minutes. Switch off the flame. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  5. Now open the lid and remove idli from the mould with the help of knife. Keep it in a plate.
  6. Serve hot with chutney and sambhar.
